Posted: July 15th, 2013 @ 7:25pm

Game 1 of the Kingston Kings' first-round Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League playoff series with the Whitby Warriors Tuesday has been moved to the Luther Vipond Memorial Arena in Brooklin, about 10 kilometres north of Whitby.Built in 1949, the arena is known as one of the grand old buildings of lacrosse. In the 23 years between its construction and the building of a new Memorial Centre, the arena was home to 13 Ontario and three Canadian championship teams. The best-of-five quarter-final series resumes Wednesday, 8 p.m., at Centre 70.
