Carolyn Aylesworth named to OCAA Hall of Fame

Kingston's Carolyn Aylesworth is one of 49 people named Wednesday to the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
Aylesworth, who played hockey at Fleming College, is being inducted as a member of the women's all-millenium hockey team. A graduate of Ernestown Secondary School, Aylesworth later played hockey at Queen's University, where she was an Ontario Women's Intercollegiate Athletic Association all-star centre in 1982-83 and 1983-84.
The OCAA Hall of Fame is dedicated to the recognizing extraordinary contributions and accomplishments by athletes, coaches and builders within college sports in Ontario. The new members will be recognized in the sixth induction ceremony at the Delta London Armouries on May 1.
The OCAA Hall of Fame was established in 2003. This group brings total membership to 345.
