MISSISSAUGA: Results of Kingston-area atheltes on the second day Friday of the 65th Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations track and field championships, at St. Marcellinus Secondary School.
Danny Amaral, Regiopolis Notre Dame
Ran the 100 metres for boys with intellectual disabilities in 13.66 seconds, finished fifth in the fast section and fifth overall.
Marissa Battle, Kingston
Ran midget girls 100 metres in 13.02 seconds, finished third in the slow heat and qualified for the final. Her time was eighth overall.
Finished fourth in the final in 12.66 seconds.
Amanda Black, Kingston
Had a best attempt of 4.68 metres and finished eighth in midget girls long jump.
Kara Blair, Rideau District
Had a best attempt of 5.07 metres, a season best, and finished seventh in junior girls long jump.
Adam Bruggraf, Bayridge
Had a best attempt of 47.48 metres, a personal best, and won the bronze medal in midget boys javelin.
Brittany Campbell, Sydenham
Ran junior girls 100 metres in 13.45 seconds, finished seventh in the second-fastest heat and did not qualify for the final. Her time was 21st overall.
Tyler Cancian, Sydenham
Ran junior boys 100-metre hurdles in 14.83 seconds, finished third in the fast heat and did not qualify for the final. His time was ninth overall.
Ryland Clark, Napanee
Ran midget boys 100-metre hurdles in 15.43 seconds, finished third in the second-fastest heat and did not qualify for the final. His time was ninth overall.
Emily Drouin, Regiopolis Notre Dame
Ran the final of open girls 1,500-metre steeplechase in a personal-best 5 minutes 9.25 seconds and won the bronze medal.
Alex Ethier, Rideau District
Ran midget girls 80-metre hurdles in a personal-best 12.56 seconds, finished third in the fastest heat and qualified for the final. Her time was seventh overall.
