Queen’s University will conduct the first of what is expected to be a series of public consultations around the new Richardson Stadium Wednesday, in the second-floor board room at the Athletics and Recreation Centre.
In a 90-minute session that will commence at 5 p.m., Mark Washo, an external consultant, will discuss ticketing, and present and entertain feedback on a proposed pricing, packaging and communications strategy.
Late last year the board of trustees approved a $20.7-million project to replace Richardson Stadium, home of the Golden Gaels football team, by the fall of 2016. Construction is expected to begin at the conclusion of the 2015 Ontario University Athletics season.
Those who are unable to attend Wednesday’s session can access an online survey to comment on ticketing strategy. It can be taken at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=kr8Zkb8UIin4ZSVvmjQ9mQ_3d_3d
