St. Lawrence Vikings posted their seventh straight victory Friday night, edging the Seneca Sting 73-72 in an Ontario Colleges Athletic Association men’s basketball game in Toronto.
The Vikings, 9-5, moved into a fourth-place tie with idle Loyalist, half a game behind third-place Centennial. St. Lawrence will try for its eighth consecutive win Saturday at George Brown.
The St. Lawrence women, meanwhile, improved their record atop the East division standings to 10-1 with a 55-34 win, their fifth in a row, over Seneca. The female Vikings will also play Saturday afternoon at Brown.
