A silver-medal performance by Blaire Dunn in the senior women’s 60-metre hurdles was the highlight among Kingston Track and Field Club athletes at the Athletics Ontario indoor youth and senior championships on the weekend at the Toronto Track and Field Centre.

Dunn ran her heat in 9.85 seconds and the final in 9.76 seconds. Bella Efremenko of Laurel Creek won the event in 9.06 seconds.

Dunn was also fifth in both the long jump (4.58 metres) and triple jump (10.11 metres).

Hailey Wolfgram tied for third place in youth girls shot put with her first attempt, 13.10 metres. Ben Cross also had a third-place performance, in senior men’s triple jump (12.17 metres) to go with a fourth-place finish in long jump (5.81 metres).

Among other Kingston competitors, Claire Millard was sixth in youth girls triple jump (9.85 metres); Nicole Zohorsky was sixth in youth girls high jump (1.40 metres), and Sophia Skorenky was sixth in senior women’s 400 metres (1 minute, 0.77 seconds).

Skorenky was also eighth in the 200 metres, in 26.80 seconds.
