Danielle Dickson provided the shutout goalkeeping and Sarah Lanteigne and Piper Southward each scored once Tuesday as the La Salle Black Knights opened their Kingston Area Secondary Schools Athletic Association senior girls soccer season with a 2-0 win over the Ernestown Eagles.

All four of Tuesday’s games ended in season-opening shutout victories.

In the doubleheader at Miklas-McCarney Field, the Loyalist Lancers blanked the Napanee Golden Hawks 2-0, and the Frontenac Falcons defeated the Bayridge Blazers 3-0. At Tindall Field, the Sydenham Golden Eagles fell 5-0 to the Kingston Blues.
