Queen’s Golden Gaels will play the Concordia Stingers in an exhibition football game Sunday, Aug. 23, in Montreal, the Queen’s Athletics Department announced Monday.
The game is a rematch of last year’s preseason contest in Kingston, where the Stingers won 25-18.
Concordia went on to have a 5-3 season in the Reseau du sport edidiant du Quebec (Quebec Student Sport Network), before being beaten 74-18 in the first round of playoffs by Laval. The Gaels finished their regular Ontario University Athletics schedule 3-5 and did not make the playoffs.
The Gaels will open their 2015 regular season when they host the Carleton Ravens the following Sunday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m.
