TORONTO—Results of Kingston-area competitors on the first day of the 66th Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations track and field championships at the Varsity Centre:

Mary Baker, Regiopolis Notre Dame

Threw 24.64 metres on her first attempt and finished 22nd in midget girls javelin.

Jonathan Besselink, Holy Cross

Ran open boys 2,000-metre steeplechase in 6 minutes 16.04 seconds, finished fifth in the fast heat and qualified for Friday’s final. His time was eighth overall.

Amanda Black, Kingston

Jumped a personal best 5.29 metres with her last attempt and finished 6th in junior girls long jump.

Emmett Bravakis, Holy Cross

Ran midget boys 400 metres in a personal-best 53.57 seconds, finished second in the second-fastest heat and qualified for Friday’s final. His time was sixth overall.

Adam Burggraf, Bayridge

Threw 43.87 metres with his third attempt and finished eighth in junior boys discus.

Ben Cross, Frontenac

Had a best attempt of 12.77 metres in the third round and finished 19th in senior boys triple jump.

Emily Fawcett, Holy Cross

Threw 31.80 metres with her fourth attempt and finished fourth in junior girls discus.

Leah Hill, Napanee

Had a personal-best attempt of 11.07 metres in the fifth round and finished eighth in senior girls shot put.

Connor Hudson, Gananoque

Had a best attempt of 12.66 metres in the first round and finished 20th in senior boys triple jump.

Jonah Johnson, Holy Cross

Had a best attempt of 14.24 metres and finished 11th in senior boys shot put.

Abbey Lanzo, Holy Cross

Ran junior girls 400 metres in 1 minute 4.75 seconds, finished seventh in the fast heat and did not qualify for the final. Her time was 22nd overall.

Brogan MacDougall, Regiopolis Notre Dame

Ran midget girls 1,500 metres in 4 minutres 43.36 seconds, won the fast heat and qualified for Friday’s final. Her time was first overall.

Jacquelyn Quesnel, Kingston

Ran junior girls 1,500 metres in 4 minutes 45.16 seconds, finished sixth in the fast heat and qualified for Friday’s final. Her time was 10th overall.

Michael Rowsell, Regiopolis Notre Dame

Cleared 1.75 metres and finished fourth in midget boys high jump.

Liam Sands, Sydenham

Cleared a personal-best 2.90 metres and finished 10th in midget boys pole vault.

Mavrick Snider, Bayridge

Had a best attempt of 11.20 metres and finished 23rd in junior boys triple jump.

Sophia Skorenky, Marie-Rivier

Ran senior girls 400 metres in a personal-best 58.28 seconds, finished fifth in the slow heat and did not qualify for the final. Her time was 12th overall.

Max Taylor, Holy Cross

Ran midget boys 400 metres in a personal-best 52.20 seconds, finished second in the fast heat and qualified for Friday’s final. His time was fourth overall.

Hailey Wolfgram, Regiopolis Notre Dame

Had a best attempt of 11.87 metres in the sixth round and finished sixth in senior girls shot put.

Ben Workman, Kingston

Ran senior boys 1,500 metres in 4 minutes 2.78 seconds, finished fifth in the slow semifinal and qualified for Friday’s final. His time was 12th overall.

Relays

Frontenac Midget Boys

Zach Froats-Crowder, Spencer Riley, Evan Desarmia and Cole Horsman were disqualified for an exchange violation.

Holy Cross Midget Boys

Connell Pelow, Max Taylor, Christian Ibanez and Emmett Bravakis ran the 400-metre relay in 48.01 seconds, finished seventh in the slow heat and did not qualify for the final. Their time was 19th overall.

Holy Cross Junior Girls

Amanda Lalonde, Anna Greentree, Nicole Skolnick and Abbey Lanzo ran the 400-metre relay in a season-best 53.12 seconds, finished seventh in the second-fastest heat and did not qualify for the final. Their time was 18th overall.

Kingston Junior Girls

Amanda Black, Danielle Adam, Waverly Mulligan and Marissa Battle ran the 400-metre relay in 52.89 seconds, finished sixth in the second-fastest heat and did not qualify for the final. Their time was 19th overall.

Regiopolis Notre Dame Junior Girls

Chloe Cabral, Amy Van Nest, Hannah Merjavec and Megan Rodrigues ran the 400-metre relay in 52.68 seconds, finished seventh in the fast heat and did not qualify for the final. Their time was 21st overall.

Kingston Junior Boys

Evan Reid, Tim Montgomery, Rhys Farrell and Graeme Workman ran the 400-metre relay in 47.14 seconds, finished seventh in the second-fastest heat and did not qualify for the final. Their time was 17th overall.
