Mary Baker, Regiopolis Notre Dame
Threw 24.64 metres on her first attempt and finished 22nd in midget girls javelin.
Jonathan Besselink, Holy Cross
Ran open boys 2,000-metre steeplechase in 6 minutes 16.04 seconds, finished fifth in the fast heat and qualified for Friday’s final. His time was eighth overall.
Amanda Black, Kingston
Jumped a personal best 5.29 metres with her last attempt and finished 6th in junior girls long jump.
Emmett Bravakis, Holy Cross
Ran midget boys 400 metres in a personal-best 53.57 seconds, finished second in the second-fastest heat and qualified for Friday’s final. His time was sixth overall.
