With all but two of the nation’s Top 10 university football teams idle last week, there was not much capacity for change in the weekly ranking—and as a result, there was none.

For the fifth week in a row the Calgary Dinos are the top-ranked team in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, according to a poll of 30 members of the Football Reporters of Canada.

Undefeated, the Dinos did not play last week, and neither did the team that remains ranked second, the Laval rouge et or. Western Mustangs, the only one of the country’s undefeated teams to play last week, improved to 6-0 with a 58-2 victory over the Toronto Blues.

Laval and the No. 4-ranked Montreal Carabins, the defending Vanier Cup champions, will clash this week in the only contest involving two Top 10 teams, Saturday in Montreal. Laval prevailed at home, 12-9, when the teams met in the opening week of the Quebec conference season.
