Mary Frost, Clare Johnston named to provincial lacrosse team

Two members of the Kingston Krossfire bantam girls lacrosse team have been named to Team Ontario.
It's believed Mary Frost and Clare Johnston are the first Kingston players of either gender ever to be chosen for a provincial team.
They were both members of a Kingston peewee girls team that won a prestigious tournament in Whitby last summer, at the time the city's first lacrosse tournament victory of any sort in five years.
Frost and Johnston are among just five first-year bantams selected to the team that will represent the province at the national championship tournament in Nova Scotia, July 23-28.
