Three members of the regular-season Kingston Area Secondary Schools Athletic Association champion La Salle Black Knights have been named to the East's first all-star team.

Bruce Burns and brothers Tanner and Jesse Graham will represent the East against the West in the KASSAA boys basketball all-star game, Thursday, May 20, at Holy Cross Secondary School.

The all-stars were chosen by the league's coaches from a list of nominees submitted by each of KASSAA's 10 senior teams.

Joining the Knights on the first East team are Sayre Powers of the Kingston Blues and Duncan Lambert of the Regiopolis Notre Dame Panthers.

They will be joined on the East team by second-team selections Alex Reid of Queen Elizabeth, Mike Galna of Loyalist, Kyle Kinkley-Dale of Granite Ridge, Connor Santoni of Regi and Reilly Lacasandile of KC.

Three members of the playoff champion Frontenac Falcons will represent the West in the all-star game, including first-team members Aidan Stride and Carter Matheson. Tristan Halladay was named to the second team.

Also chosen for the first West team were Tom Withey of the Sydenham Golden Eagles, Brent Martindale of the Holy Cross Crusaders and Austin Macklem of the Bayridge Blazers.

The second West team is rounded out by Derek Platt of Bayridge, Ben Lusk of Sydenham, Jeremy Pendergast of Holy Cross and Chad Thompson of Napanee.

Game time May 20 will be 5 p.m.
