Belleville Bulls audition a new coach and a new goalie and the result is a 7-0 whipping of the Kingston Frontenacs in Game 4 of their first-round series in Belleville.
The win enables the Bulls to tie the best-of-seven affair 2-2.
Belleville dismissed coach Dan Flynn before yesterday's practice and replaced him with Shawn MacKenzie. Meanwhile, Bulls goaltender Jeff Fife began serving an indefinite suspension for throwing his goal stick into the crowd in Kingston on Thursday.
In Fife's place Rob Stopar made his playoff debut and he gained his first OHL shutout, making 41 stops to get it.
Richard Fatrola and Ken Rowbotham scored twice each for the Bulls, who scored two shorthanded goals and three others on the power play. Rob Pearson, Scott Thornton and Craig Fraser scored the other Belleville goals. Related Articles:
